MALAYSIA TO WELCOME ONE OF THE PROMINENT COCHLEAR IMPLANTS CONFERENCES IN THE WORLD IN 2025

PUTRAJAYA – 27 MAY 2022: The Malaysia’s business event sector is up and running as Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) announces another prominent bid win to host the Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences in 2025 together with The Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgeons (MSO-HNS).

Dato’ Sri Abdul Khani Daud, Chief Executive Officer of MyCEB states, “We are very honoured to work with the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgeons in putting forward our compelling proposal to host this prestigious conference. I am proud of the efforts we have made so far and fully confident that the business events industry, which holds high on its compliance in calculating high standards of hygiene and safety in every activity towards the organisation of in-person event, will be expecting many future conferences to be held in 2022 onwards. We really hope this conference will meet its ultimate objective as Malaysia provides the best platform for interchange of knowledge, skills and expertise with unique Malaysia experience.”


Professor Dato’ Dr Prepageran Narayanan, Incoming President of the Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences in 2025 said “Malaysia being awarded to host the Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences in 2025 is an important global recognition of our work in this field. This is among one of the most prestigious and biggest cochlear implants conferences in the world, set to gather the prominent global experts for a dynamic forum, promoting productive clinical debates within various aspects of hearing, speech and related balance disorders. Setting the theme of Hearing for All, we aim to improve impaired person’s quality of everyday life on hearing, speech and balance disorders.”

Congregating around 800 delegates and contributing some RM15 million in economic impact, the event inspires to improve your understanding and practice in the field of hearing implants.

The Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologist Head and Neck Surgeons (MSO-HNS) consists of approximately 280 qualified practitioners from all around the region with its mission to issue awareness towards hearing loss and its deep impact upon a person’s quality of everyday life. Their aim would have 3 primary focus which is hearing impairment, artificial hearing equipment, and language development.
