The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), owned by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Qube) offers over 52,000sqm of exhibition space and triple volume exhibition halls. Boasting the largest pillar-less exhibition hall in Malaysia with 12,960 sqm of columnfree space on one level, MITEC offers 11 spacious exhibition halls as large as eight football fields combined, a grand ballroom and a junior ballroom. The facilities include 16 meeting rooms, VIP suites and lounge, organisers’ office, business centre, food and beverage outlet.

Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah is a renowned Senior Consultant Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in breast and endocrine surgery. He served as Malaysia’s Director General of Health (2013–2023), earning global recognition for his leadership. A strong advocate for universal healthcare and patient-centered innovation, he has held key roles in WHO, DNDi, and surgical associations worldwide. He is also Chair of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons and was awarded the prestigious Fellowship Ad Hominem by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dato’ Sri Dr. Irmohizam bin Ibrahim has been the Group Managing Director of World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) since 2019. Driven by passion and dedication, he has marked his name as the first Malaysian to become the Chairman of Conferences & Exhibitions (C&E) Member Advisory Council (MAC), World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) headquartered in New York, USA. In 2023, Dato’ Sri became the first Malaysian to be elected as the Board of Director of WTCA. His contributions in the Business Events (BE) industry are significant as the Board of Directors of the Malaysian Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), Member of Advisory for the Malaysian Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (MACEOS) and Advisory Panel Member of KIND Malaysia 2025. He was recently honoured with the Distinguished Leadership Award by the Exhibition Showcase at the Exhibition Excellence Awards (EEA) 2025, held in Mumbai, India and conferred the Malaysia Outstanding Business Icon Excellence Award 2025 at the Malaysia Economic Forum 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Amelia Roziman, a pioneer of BESarawak, has over 21 years of experience in branding, marketing, and PR. Rising from sales coordinator to CEO in 12 years, she champions the development of Sarawak’s business events sector with a strong focus on legacy impact and sustainability. A proud Bidayuh, she led the creation of the award-winning ‘Sarawak 2030’ advocacy plan, securing government recognition of business events as a key sector. Her efforts have earned 23 destination marketing awards and five personal accolades, including the prestigious Ahli Bintang Sarawak medal in 2021 for her contributions to Sarawak’s development.

Renowned for driving sustainable growth and innovation, Waikin also plays a pivotal role in regional development, high-impact bids, and educational programmes. A trusted advisor and seasoned speaker, she is passionate about mentoring emerging talent and shaping the next generation of leaders in the meetings and associations industry.
Dee Dee Quah

Dee Dee is the founder and director of Conference Partners also known as Medical Conference Partners. She has over 15 years of experience organising conferences and her company has organized over 78 conferences (both national and international conferences). She is also Adjunct Associate Professor of Taylor’s University School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management.

El brings over 25 years of leadership in hospitality and business events, blending cross-cultural experiences with a focus on team performance and positive psychology. A certified practitioner, he co-created Intellectual Team-Building with The School of Positive Psychology and curates content for AIME and PCMA APAC. At PCMA, her focus is on growing the PCMA in the APAC region and aligns with stakeholders to advance the industry and profession.
